I emailed NNCIP a few months ago. They did not have a doctor within my state at the time. I went through one more set with SWMG and for upcoming SWMG consults I was asked to go out of state. Around the same time I received an email from NNCIP that they have a discount and reminding me they have a doctor in state now.

Well I pursued with NNCIP, sent records, made the appt. Went to the appt., got a script. Of course none of the local pharms stock the med so finally had to leave it with one of them to order for about five days later. I was surprised that pharms do not carry 10/325.

The doctor was nice, had reviewed the records before I arrived. During the appt. I found out that I would need to go every month, which is not what I was expecting.

Cant find a thread for the NNICP so will post here,
THANK YOU ADMIN
I emailed them about my Mom and
they will take her...
:dancemaniak:
WOO HOO
Very sweet and caring
We are in Louisiana and the nearest Dr is in TX so thought we might have a snag but here is a copy of the email they replied to me:
QUOTE
We would be glad to help your mother! We try to have our patients see doctors in their state, but since you are a bordering state of Texas, and you have family in Dallas, there should be no problem at all! If you would like to set up an appointment with Dr. Phillips in Dallas, to get started, sign up on our website here. After you fill out your Mom's information on the website, I attached two forms we need filled out that can either be faxed or emailed to us. After we receive all of her information, we can find a time that will work with you and her for your appointment. Thanks

AWESOME
Thanks again!! I am thrilled and so
surprised it was that easy! :srpign:
Please direct me to the thread for them if there is one so I can keep people informed and help others as you have helped me!

Blessings! Praise the LORD,
AP

Hello,

Just wanted to add that also I have used the NNCIP (National Network for Chronic Intractable Pain) to get my initial script for Hydro 10/325, and my refills monthly over the phone thereafter... The refills are done in the exact same way compared to the old days, so if you don't mind the initial f2f which was actually very quick and not at all bothersome. I requested for my medications to be filled and delivered by their recommended 'discount pharmacy', so no problems with the filling process at all. Would highly recommend this one to others with a legit medical condition!

Cheers,

Clouds

Warm regards to all!

If you fax them your medical records they will usually review them that same day. If approved you can schedule the consultation with the prescribing doctor right away and although some doctors may be busier than others the entire process only took me 3 days. You can call the toll-free number listed on their website for more details. Good Luck! ~ Clouds ;)

Prices will vary depending on the service provider, and sometimes also on the doctor in the State where you may decide to request an initial consult at. Consultation fees will further change over time so I do not want to make any statements here, but I usually pay around $100 for each fill of Norco I receive. While consultations for non-controlled substances are usually free, the ones for controlled substances are generally not, and if you need long-term pain management it pays of to do some research by carefully comparing the different options available in your area. Simply visit the consultation websites as listed within the members area to find out who best suit your requirements and budget;) ~ Clouds

Has anyone had experience with the Florida NNCIP office? I see they take out of state patients and may make the trip. I'd just like to hear from some other patients first.
Thanks!

They are OK, the doctor prescribed 90 x Lortab 10/500 and I was able to fill them at discount pricing compared to a local pharmacy. I heard from others that they had problems when asking for 120 tablets but this is likely because they were not suffering from a condition that could justify it. Regardless, I am happy with the 90 count and didn't want to ask for more with the risk of ruining my relationship with the prescribing physician. If you have medical records I would say they they are worth a try.
