i just watched the best ghost movie ever you guys!!!...its called THE ST. FRANCISVILLE EXPERIMENT......its a true documentory on 4 students that were picked to go stay in a haunted house for one night..and they film the entire thing...now i am VERY picky about horror movies and movies in general..but my heart is still pounding after an hour of it being over with !!!..it will scare the living daylights out of you!!..i am not sure if it was on dvd but i found it in the horror section on vhs at blockbusters...you gotta see it!!!...lol..anyways..i cant do much with my time when i am not working because being in cronic pain and the job i work, i have to rest myself on my days off cause the stress i am putting on my wrists and arm and back and work is making my condition worsen..so on my time off i like to watch movies..no stress in that..lol..although i almost had a heart attack from that movie)..so i thought we could share some good movies with each other just like we share recipes..jokes ect...i also got cabin fever tonight and am gonna watch that tomorrow..its a new release...but next time you all go to blockbusters..if they have this documentry that i posted..dont waste your time on any other movie..you gotta see this!!....and i am serious when i add this...if you have any type of heart condition..do not watch this please.....its that scary and some scenes have the ghosts throwing things around and you even see ghosts and it comes by suprise...so be careful watching it...but i have never seen anything like this...jennifer

Hey, Jen. Is it anything like "The Blair Witch Project"? If so, no thanks    If not, let me know and I'll check it out. I LOVE scary movies!!! The Excorcist, to date, has been the only movie that has made me pull covers over my head at night and made me worry my bed would rise off the floor! I also love comedy :) Head of State was pretty funny and also, Malibu's Most Wanted ( although Cheesy :) ) was kinda funny too!

Hey Jen...you think you were scared with the Exorcist...I was 18 when I saw it, still living at home and slept with my Mom for a month!!

My bedroom was upstairs..a remodeled attic and I just couldn't go up there. Made my Mom come up with me to get my clothes, etc. That movie scared the "you know what" out of me. I still get upset when I see it listed on TV. It scares me just to know it on another channel. :...O...) . I'm such a scardy cat!!

hey ya'll ..thanks for posting..i was wondering when anyone was gonna post..lol..i kind of started this post to tell everyone about the movie..but then wanted others to post some good ones as well...anyways..as far as the exorcist goes..yep..watched that one too..when i was 9 my babysitter made me watch it..i almost had to go to therapy for it!!!..lol...then came poltergiest..gosh...that too..i was also sleeping with the lights on for years...funny..when you watch things when your older..doesnt do half the damage it does when you watch things when your young and think everything is real!!..lol...anyways..to answer your question about if its like the blair witch project...NOT AT ALL...they ended up saying it wasnt real anyways with that movie...i also think that movie was pretty dumb..this one..by far was the scariest thing i had ever seen..and at the end of the movie they said that all the students that stayed the night at the house had to go to therapy and had nightmares..now the movie kind of drags for the 1st 15 minutes of it..(actallu its a documentry with live footage of the events that happen in the house that night)..but at 1st they just talk about the house and give interviews with the 4 students before they go into it..but then after that it shows then go into the house and at 1st..stuff starts happening but every time it does..like they hear doors slamming..they dont get the footage and they start to think that the ghosts arebt gonna do anything with the cameras there..(you can hear the stuff in the background though)..anyways..after a while..all hell breaks loose and they get a bunch of stuff on film...thats all i am gonna tell you...lol...go get it at blockbusters..its great!!!...tonight i am going to go get the "entity"..have you ever seen that one?...supposed to be based on a true story about a haunting and i had seen the other day an interview with the lady that had experienced and they had some pictures of the real things and footage of the stuff that happened i think back in the early 80's..mabey late 70's..and interviews with the film crew ect...SCARY!!....anyways..please let me know if you see it...sometimes its fun to be scared..lol..take care..jennifer

Hey Jen,
The Entity is a really good movie..very scary. We watched one the other night and neither my husband or myself can remember the name. Something like Down Below or something. It's about vampires vs. werewolves. Sounds kinda corny, but I really liked it. Not real gory, but makes you kinda think about what lives below in the sewers. :?
I'll have to rent that movie you're talking about. Sounds really good. I can only watch scary movies on the weekends...my husband works 3rd shift and I'm too chicken to watch them by myself.
Have you seen the previews of the new tv show by Stephen King about the haunted hospital? That looks kinda wild. Later...and take care.
Cindy

Okay, by FAR the scariest movie i have ever seen was "The Shining" with Jack Nicholson. Geez, even the MUSIC in that movie was enough to make me cower! I was watching it with three friends in an apartment and me and another guy got so scared we left to go get coffee. When we got back our two friends were smooshed together in the corner grasping on to each other with totally terrified looks on their faces - but couldn't stop watching it!! Egad!

As far as other movies go, i'm a huge fan of the old Molly Ringwald teenage movies made by John Hughes - Molly Ringwald was the absolute best choice for the tormented teen! And ANYTHING with Susan Sarandon, who is in my opinion a GODDESS! "White Palace," with Susan Sarandon and James Spader, is my all-time favorite. If you haven't seen it, rent it!
  (yep, that's 2 thumbs up!)

Yep, Santa, that was a good one! Jack Nickleson was Great in that!!!
Another scary one is April Fools Day. A very, very old movie, but very, very scary!!! That's one to rent!

cool guys and gals..thanks for the good movies!!..i am off tomorrow night and am once again in the mood to run to blockbusters..lol...hey cindy...the movie you were talking about with stephen king..about the hosptal..is it called "secission 9"?..if so..i did see that..for me..it was okay pretty good..just hard to follow..kind of like the movie "vanilla sky"..with tom cruize...you have to really pay attention to what is going on..and then at some point..you just cant figure out what in the heck is going on..lol..and boy..i watched "the entity" the other night...its based on a true story although they do tell you that alot of the stuff added in the movie wasnt real..they just added it in..but at the end when they are rolling the credits..they say that they mother and her kids that were involved in this haunting, still to this day experience supernatural things..although it isnt as often or as strong as before..they had also moved to another state after the movie was made..guess where they moved too?..TEXAS !   ...i live in dallas..lol..oh gosh...take the bad ghost elsewhere please?..lol..anyways..and after i saw that movie..i also rented this and it was in the "special interests" section of blockbusters..its called "sightings"..and they used to run this program as a weekly thing on tv..and what it was ,was people that have actual footage from their home video cameras or documentories that they filmed of things like ufo's..ghosts..ect..that they have caught on film...and the producers that get these videos, before they air the footage on tv..they try their best to screen each one for authentisity before they air it on tv...i used to love that show..okay..so they had 2 videos at there frm the sightings episodes..one was some of them from ufo segments that they did..another was the ghost ones...so after i watched the "entity"..i watched the sightings on ghosts..and they had one segment on the movie about the entity..and they showed the real lady that the movie was based on..along with "still" pictures of the poloroid film that they had taken of the ghosts that haunted her..and boy did these pictures scare me!!..there was one of them that was checked for the authentisity of it..( probley spelled that wrong..but it was checked by scientists, photographers, film specialits..ect..to see if it was a fake picture..or pictures)..anyways..after that..it or they were the only pictures ever published in the magazine that comes out every month because they said it was definilty not a fake..and they have thousands of pictures sent in to them..but if you all are wanting to have a good night or two and want to be scared..get the "sightings" ghost and paranormal footage..and then get the 'st.fransisville experiment"...and if you havent seen the entinty..get that too!!..lol...you know i am so picky when it comes to horror movies..ect..thats why latley i have been getting not really movies with ghostly stuff..but REAL LIFE FOOTAGE of them caught on video...good stuff whether your a believer or not..it will scare the socks off of you!!!!..oh..and the sightings one also has voices caught on tape..they set up a recorder in this house..and then sent this lady in there to record things as she tried to talk to the ghosts..i think when she was there..she tried to tlak to them but didnt hear any response..until they got back out of there and played the the tape back..the you heard voices..one ghost said.."i've come up with betty"......  ...okay..i am scared now  ..lol..let me know if you get any of these cindy or big c...or anyone...be scared with me!!!!!!...lol..jennifer

Hi all,

Solara, the movie you mean is Underworld and I thought it was pretty good. Anyway, I've seen all the movies mentioned here. I've got so many good horr flicks to mention, but only if you guys are really interested.

Just thought I'd add that by day my fianee and I have two great jobs. I'm an administrator in a school and he is in computers, but AT NIGHT, we are professional haunted house folks  lol... totally professional and serious stuff. When I'm sick and in pain we don't do it, but anytime I start to feel better, we are usually all over it. October is nutz and we actually have a maze like at Knott's Scary Farm. It's a trip.

If you are interested in going on out website, please PM me. I DO NOT EVER give out the website, just a few selected folks. I hold this CONFIDENTIAL.

Jen, I think you'd really get a trip outta what we do.
