Do NOT do it to yourself - Accurate MD Posted: Tue Dec 11, 2007 4:03 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 1 I made a post about how wonderfual Accurate MD was and spoke too soon. Yes I did get my consult right away and my meds followed suit quickly. The problem is, when I went for my refill, I was told it couldn't happen, that the doctor working with Accurate MD said he got a phone call from the government saying this was illegal and that he did not want anymore prescriptions bearing his name filled unless he physically saw the patient. I couldn't believe it when XXX Pharmacy said this. Essentially, I feel ripped off and I'm entitled to feel however I feel. I paid Accurate MD for a consult that gave me one prescription with TWO refills I can't even get. So I call the pharmacy back and asked for the doctor's phone number and called him personally. He is the one who said he was told this entire activity is illegal and that he would not be filling anymore scripts. So I email Accurate MD and tell them I deserve a partial refund, that I did NOT get ALL that I paid for. Their response? No more owner contact that's for sure. I get a form letter which I replied to asking again for some kind of resolution. Their answer? Form letter number TWO. So looks like I paid for 3 scripts but will only get that ONE. They should be refunding 2/3's to everyone. And what do I get today as an email? My own post way back when my opinion of them was good! All about how Accurate MD is a "winner." They do NOT have my permission to disperse this to suffering patients and NEVER gave me so much as the courtesy as to let me know they wanted to use my OLD post as a campagne ploy. This outrageous and I am PISSED! This misinforms people intentionally and if they want to be in the business of doing that, fine. Just don't use MY words to do it with. My advice? Save yourself the drama and headache you don't need on top of everything else you have to put up with as a pain sufferer. Find someone who operates legally and safely. I wish you all better, pain-free days. If I can find another RELIABLE op (and the money for another consult and script ) then I'll no loner use prescriptiondrugplant. I also would like to try the compound hydro so I'm not exceeding my tylenol limit. But if I cancel my order now then I'm out $100 for the consult. So can I go to this sight and get the compound and keep my other account open until I get my meds and 2 refills. (however long that's going to be) I really need the meds now. I have endometreosis, pituitary tumor, duodenal ulcer, and a bad pancreas from a really horrible pancreatitis attack last year. I'm also taking my first family vacation in over five years to disney next month and I am terrifed of going with no or not enough meds to get me through all that activity for 2 weeks. My worst fear is going with not enough meds. My husband was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease a couple years ago and was the guy trapped in the Sofa Super Store fire in Charleston, SC in Jume. With all of that plus my horrible health problems the past 2 years (In the hospital for 2 months and constantly in and out of the ER) we really NEED this vacation. I also think we deserve it. And there is no way I'm be able to enjoy it (or even tolerate it) with enough meds to last me 2 weeks. So please advise and help any way that you can. I love this site. It makes me feel like I'm not crazy and alone. I just with everyone would start posting again. Thanks, Toni _________________ painfree forever New Info. Since I already sent my medical records last time and they are current I only have to download and sign a few documents and fax them in before my new consult. So far this sight (RXPRI.com, not myeclinic by the way) has been excellent to work with. They are prompt in responding to e-mails and I have always gotten my meds the next day after a consult. I will let you know if everything runs smoothly this time. _________________ DONNA

It is officially RXPRI.com. When I originally called the msg went straight to VM. I left a msg but I also e-mailed them. This was on Mon. They both E-mailed and called me back. I told them that according to our forum they were $140. I was told that their consults are $155. I take Norco 10/325 and usually get 120. They said that for that med it would be $164 + $30 for shipping. I explained that that was a bit high and a lot of sites are around $120. Long story short, when they found out I was with a forum, they offered me a $35 discount even though they had not heard of our forum before. (I recommend someone call to negotiate a group discount) So, I had my consult this morning. They only gave me #90 because it was the NA and I guess the Dr. has to approve any more than that. I will have 2 refills of the 90 count and can possibly get 120 on my next consult. That was at about 10:30 MST. It is now 4:00 and I have a tracking number for my meds. IT WAS GREAT! NO WAIT! I will post again when the meds get here. If you have any questions about how it works I'm happy to answer. Finally, an OP that responds to you and gets your meds out quick. WOO HOO! Got My Meds! Posted: Thu Aug 23, 2007 12:31 pm lostgirl FRX Senior Member Joined: 03 Feb 2003 Posts: 78 Location: Utah Yep, I got my meds this morning almost exactly 24 hrs. after my consult. Finally! A good site. I won't post any names but it is a pharmacy in TX and a doc I've never heard of so not one that makes the rounds to all these OP's. Just a recommendation. I have always used COD in the past but they always charge like an extra $15. So I went and got one of those reloadable Visas. So much easier. They can only take the money they are due and I don't have to wait for an excat amount to go get a MO. I only put the amount for the next refill available on there and then they can't rip you off like some of these sites have done to people. If they tried to charge me now it wouldn't process. But as far as RXPRI goes I have been very impressed. I highly recommend them. Please post if you have a good experience too so people have more to go on. Who delivered for you? delivery Posted: Fri Aug 24, 2007 9:14 am lostgirl FRX Senior Member Joined: 03 Feb 2003 Posts: 78 Location: Utah I had that problem too. They said they use both DHL and Fedex. So I called both places. It ended up being DHL and was an 11 digit # starting with 53. They e-mailed me and specifically asked that we not post any names of docs or pharmacies but I told them that has become our policy anyway. When I told them about our forum they asked how many members we have. I told them we were very small compared to some sites out there but I think that works to our advantage. Might be easier to get a group discount without fear of too many people overloading thier site. Great site Posted: Thu Sep 13, 2007 8:30 am melanie5218 FRX Newbie Joined: 21 Aug 2007 Posts: 7 Hey - I just wanted to update everyone on this site. I used them recently, and everything went very smoothly. The doctor was friendly, and knowledgeable about chronic back pain conditions. Of course, I had to submit all my medical records, so this took me a couple of days to gather them all up. Once I had spoken with the doctor (who had to call me twice to catch me - totally my fault - my consult was at 7:00 CST), my script was approved by the consult doctor, as well as the one at the pharmacy within 2 days. I received the meds via DHL within 48 hours of my consult. I would reccommend them to anyone with current records. The consult was $155 - I didnt know to mention the discount - and my meds were $112. I don't requre special compounds, or a very high pill count, so I don't know what the prices would be for things like that. I wanted to say thank you to the mods and to Teresita for taking a personal interest in me, and giving me such great advice. Also, the staff at RXPRI was very quick to respond to any questions I sent in via email, although it was difficult to call and get through to a live operator. . Good luck everyone and God bless. The real test Posted: Mon Sep 17, 2007 5:49 pm lostgirl FRX Senior Member Joined: 03 Feb 2003 Posts: 78 Location: Utah Okay, everyone so here is the real test of this site. They did a great job on my original consult and fill but how are they on refills. A lot of sites are good originally to hook you but don't follow through on the refill end of things. So far I am a little worried. I had my refill available on Sun so I went to the site and ordered. I got an e-mail sent to me saying that it has been sent to the pharmacy. Since it was sunday I guess it is just automated. It is now about 7 PM EST and I have not heard anything. I checked the site and it says my order is pending. I know it can take 48 hrs although when I had my original consult it was only 24. I won't panic until I get through tomorrow with no word, and it is a Mon and they are usually busier on Mon, but still. I would have expected something by now. Well, not to panic. I will be patient. I will update you as things go. This will be a true test of their abilitites however. Good news and Bad news Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2007 11:21 am lostgirl FRX Senior Member Joined: 03 Feb 2003 Posts: 78 Location: Utah Well, I got an e-mail this morning with my tracking number so I assumed it is going out today for delivery tomorrow. However, when I checked with DHL it apparently did go out yesterday for delivery today but missed it's connnection and won't get here till tomorrow. So as far as the OP is concerned they did their job wonderfully. The refill was processed and sent out the day I asked for it. The delay is in the delivery company. Last time it arrived at 11:00 in the monring and I will be gone tomorrow morning until 12:00. I left instructions for them to leave it with a neighbor since I can't drive to thier office (I had another grand mal seizure 3 weeks ago ) if I am not here since it needs a signature. Although I am disappointed that I won't get it until tomorrow, I am pleasantly surprised that it is not in any way the fault of the OP and that they did follow through on thier end of things. Stupid DHL! LOL! At least it is in their system and I can check on it. Plus I told the agent that it is medication and I am prone to seizures. At this point if I go off the meds I am at risk for a seizure since my body is used to the medication being present. She said her son also has epilepsy and was very understanding. She will have someone watch it and take special care to make sure it arrives tomorrw. I hope it comes after noon so I am here when it gets here. A lot less complications would be nice. Oh well, I'll let you know. OMG!! Surprise Surprise! Posted: Tue Sep 18, 2007 2:14 pm lostgirl FRX Senior Member Joined: 03 Feb 2003 Posts: 78 Location: Utah Well guess what. I have my meds!. They came at about 12 MST. There must have been a miscommunication at DHL because the last transaction showed them arriving at a hub in another state at 3 am and I was told they missed a connection. But who cares! They are here earlier than I expected am thrilled. This web site has always impressed me and I highly recommed them to others. They are prompt in responding to emails and are always very friendly (Has anyone from the forum been able to negotiate a discount with them yet?.. Maty?) Anyway, stick with them. their pharmaciies are up and running on time. The pills I got were not the watson though. They were a darker yellow with a V on the back. They seem to work the same though but may be just a little less potent. Does anyone have any info on this generic med. I have gotten this generic many times before and though I do prefer the Watson I have no problem getting these as well ( Although ,I think on my next consult I will ask about it ) But As of now I am definatly a happy camper. As always please post your expreiences so others have as much info to go off of as possible. 1 or 2 good experiences help but we want to hear your stories too. last refill Posted: Mon Oct 15, 2007 1:47 pm lostgirl FRX Senior Member Joined: 03 Feb 2003 Posts: 78 Location: Utah Okay, I just got my last refill with them and couldnt' be more impressed. In fact, according to their website I was due for a refill on 10/13 which was Sat. I wasn't sure if they would send it on Fri. or Mon. so just to be safe I went in and requested it on Thurs. To my amazement it was filled and sent for delivery on Thurs and I received it on Fri. Wow! It was a different pharmacy than last time though and this time it was watson brand. On a different note, I have mentioned that I used to do COD but have changed to a green dot visa. Since I didn't know it was going to go through on Thurs. I didn't put the cash in my visa until then. When the pharmacy went to charge it, the money hadn't shown up yet so they just sent it COD. The cool thing is it was still the exact same amount. They didn't charge me extra for doing COD. Most places charge an extra $12 or something for that so if you want to do COD this is also the site for you. Has anyone else tried them lately. I need to have a new consult and I want to see if I can get 120 count this time. Last time they said that it had to go through the doc first and that 90 was the best they could do. I will also let you know on that . Posted: Fri Nov 02, 2007 9:41 am maty VIP Elite Veteran Moderator Joined: 24 Feb 2003 Posts: 1548 Has anyone used these guys and gotten WATSONS!?!?!? I was very pleased with the consultation/exam. He was thorough, asked a lot of questions, and suggested several alternative treatments for one of my conditions that I had not considered. He had a very good bedside manner, which was refreshing. He gave me a prescription (100 qty w/refills) and I was not rushed in or out. SWMG arranged the appointment and provided directions and phone numbers. They handled things well and were pleasant to work with. They were more expensive than I would have liked, but it turned out to be reasonable, given the the service they provided. They also didn't charge for the consultation until after the exam. Based on my experience, I would recommend SWMG. Dave Author: SirDaver Posted: Fri Nov 30, 2007 11:28 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 4 I didn't think about that when I filled it today. He prescribed 100 and I filled it at my local CVS Pharmacy. I never thought about that, but I have to think that it shouldn't be a problem. If a customer has a legal prescription from a licensed doctor, the pharmacy has no standing in not filling it. It would be like the pharmacist stepping between the patient-doctor relationship. If they think they have to "help" customers so they don't hurt themselves by having too many pills on hand, then they have overstepped their bounds. Maybe they are simply trying to control their inventory (i.e., "limit of 60 per customer"). It might be a pharmacy's policy not to fill more than 30 or 60, but I don't think the law would support them. Of course, I am not a lawyer, so I may be entirely wrong. Either way, if your pharmacy operates like that, I would find another pharmacy. These are your records and the doctor is required by law to provide them to you if you formally request them. I would suggest you read the section of this website that talks about getting your records, as it addresses dealing with doctors that are not very responsive to their patients. Getting all of your records is step one. If it were me, step two would be to fire my doctor due to his/her arrogance. If they do not put the patient first, they shouldn't get the business. They may play the "we're looking out for you" card, but what they are really saying is: "we will make the decisions for you since you are too ignorant to take care of yourself". Twenty-five years ago that argument may have had some (maybe) merit. But with all the information we have available at our fingertips, we CAN take a more proactive role in our health. I'm not advocating not seeing your doctor regularly, I'm just taking these guys down off of their pedestal. I apologize for venting a little. This is just a "hot-button" issue with me. Take care of yourself and good luck!! Dave Author: SirDaver Posted: Thu Nov 29, 2007 9:19 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 4 I can only give direct feedback on one OP, since it is who I am using. Southwest Medical Group has had good feedback from other members. I have a face to face visit with Dr Phillips tomorrow and I'll let you know how they respond. Not all OPs offer actual office visits, but SWMG does in selected cities. In face to face visits you walk out with a script that you can fill (and refill) at your local pharmacy instead of relying on an out of state pharmacy to ship your meds. Good luck. I hope you find relief. Dave Author: SirDaver Posted: Thu Nov 29, 2007 9:04 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 2 fern/gshifrin, you need to continue to read through the posts, the pharmacy links on the main site and maybe do a little research on your own. Things change quickly and the feedback from members may not be as timely as we'd all like, but it is what it is. Keep in mind that just because the feedback may not be current, it doesn't mean the OP does not have a pharmacy that's not shipping. There are plenty of OPs in the feedback forums that are shipping. Apparently these pain clinics are all over the place.............. I don't agree with their methods, since they are not very good at making sure you have a legitimate medical problem. And is why those of us who have legitimate issues w/records to prove it, are strictly scrutinized!!!!! I have never been to one, but maybe others have had some experience in this arena? Would be interesting to see if anyone has had a good experience in their area, but not sure we should post the names of places or anything like that, since "Big Brother" is always watching!!! http://www.click2houston.com/investigates/index.html Hope all is well with everyone! It is frustrating to start a relationship with a doctor only to have it fall apart due to pharmacy issues or an OP shutdown. When you have legitimate physical issues and records to support it, you wouldn't think it would be so difficult. But I honestly think this industry is evolving and we're seeing the OPs that play by the rules (such as they are) becoming more common. There are several OPs that have been discussed in this forum that have been around for a while and appear to be adapting as the industry has changed. Several now offer in-person consultations which seems like a good start to longer-term relationships. There are probably other OPs discussed in the forum that offer similar services aimed at satisfying new federal laws, but I still haven't had enough time to read every thread!! With the vast majority of the feedback on SWMG being positive, I contacted them last week and sent in my records. I received a call today for an initial consultation and I have an in-person visit scheduled for this Friday. Hopefully they'll live up to their reputation. I'll post later to let you know how things turn out. Dave Author: Jasper Posted: Tue Nov 27, 2007 9:56 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 2 Negative. The days of ordering in plain sight are over. Atleast for the foreseeable future. It's a shame for those of us that have legitimate cases and are left to fall thru the cracks. I suggest Ultram or the generic Tramadol, take 100mg or 150mg. Will take the edge off and is excellent for vicodin withdrawal and can be used to ween off all narcotic medication. Decrease by 25mg per day and you should come off with little to no side effects. A small percentage of patients report upset stomach so try taking with food. Best of luck to you... Author: dogboy Subject: here!!!! The company we had been using has simply disappeared and all their lines are down , as they processed our orders it has left you the customer without your orders. We wanted to let you know as you have stuck by us during what we thought was a rough patch, and this is through no fault of ours , we strongly apologize for the suffering this has put you through. However we do not directly deal with any order processing, credit card payments or anything else other than forward your order to another company, We are unable to offer any refunds ourselves as we never took the payments in the first place, in addition we are unable to answer any questions relating to your order as they have shut us out of the backend system that told us customer status on orders and refills etc. Our entire business and reputation relied solely on the company in Florida. The only bit of advice we can give is to do a chargeback asap To help you get your meds from another company we recommend using www.phoneconsultation.com as they are reliable and has nothing to do with us, We hope this helps. Regards, Karen ** End e-mail ** I had sent two or three e-mails since I placed the order and recieved a standard "we are doing everything we can" type of response. Then this email came yesterday - on Thanksgiving of all days. I guess it's nice to know something one way or the other (as if I didn't know by now, anyway . Oh, and even though we don't nomally do things this way (we usually post AFTER using the site and let folks how it turned out...ok or not), but your request was very sincere that I thought we'd honor it and see if anyone uses them. So , PLEASE FOLKS let SirDaver and the rest of us know how it went! I'm curious if anyone has any information about phoneconsultation.com. Their website states that, if appropriate, the doctor provides a prescription that you fill at your local pharmacy. It seems like a good way to avoid the pharmacy delays and closing issues that alway seem to come up. Please share any information with the forum. (DEH825, OSuseCue, and maty, I was reluctant to start a new thread for Phoneconsultation.com. Outside the longer than normal shipping (from India, obviously), I had a good experience. Good website and responsive customer service. In the spirit of the Holidays...I wanted to take the time to wish all our members (and my terrific co-mod Donna - who gives so much of herself - as I do to this site without much praise) a very very HAPPY HAPPY and love filled Thanksgiving! So many of us here are in a constant struggle with much pain and have such little time for joy and true happiness. So, please...let us take this time to thank the lord and/or whatever higher power one subjects to that we are stilll alive (even if in pain) and that we do have this site, which Teresita kindly provides to help us bond together, as many folks have lots family members and are alone. HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!
