    Hey everyone,

I thought I'd jump in here and hopefully my exper. can help and inform someone else.I'm thinking ALL THAT HELL HAS TO BE WORTH SOMETHING if not to support someone else.I've had 10 gut surgeries!!!!!!.
6 ovarian ruptures, 1 to remove the ovary and fal. tube,1 to remove my apendix and PURARATED BOWEL OBST. that almost took and they say SHOULD have took my life.1emer c-section in my 6 month (HOR> CUT) starting at the bottom of my ribs.I lost count how many stiches I've had,but I can remember I've had 36 staples 2.When i had the c-section they not only had the ob team, they bought in a g.i. team because they were sure they were going to nec the bowel with ALL that scare tissue.

Pain DOSEN"T even come close to explaining the hell I've been threw. There's days and even weeks I've lost I'm in memories because of the pain and trama I've been threw.I use to be VERY active and HAD a great job.I'm 5'2 and weight 105.OR I should say i did.I'm lucky to HOLD 95lbs because of the gi problems,EATING at times is my biggest problem. My gut DOES NOT MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm weak at times ,I'm tiried, I'm ALWAYS in pain.Even eating makes my gut hurt because when i'm full i'n usualy bent over. I had blood work ever 3 months because of the BIO the entered my blood stream.I still get scare infections(ON THE OUT SIDE.)My skin breaks out when my body has to much bac..I have sinus problems because of the threwing up .

I hope i'm making sense because its ALL still hard to explain where it makes sense.I live in pain every day of my life.s so bad that some times i can barly remember life without it.I really am GREATFUL for my life but when I sit and think about it all i some times cry.BUT then i tell myself IT'S OVER and make the best out EVERY DAY I HAVE,BECAUSE I'M LUCKY TO BE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOW after all that I'm VERY happy with my life. A wonder husband and two great kids.My pain is the only thing I'm not happy about.

Like others I've heard of this surgery you can have to remove scare tissue and my thoughts on are ARE YOU ______ KIDING.why after all that would i ever let another doc cut me by choice.I would never go threw that agin willing.Besides its another CUT(HELLO) and that means MORE scare tissue and where they have to cut me it HIGH up almost under the breast bone.NO THANK YOU and i'll suffer with what i have on my plate becase to be truthful i barely eat it somedays. I know i'm going on and on and I'M SORRY> If this helps someone to know you can get threw anything and THANK GOD for this site . I don't even tell me family that I still cry some times. Lets face they'd only say BE GLAD YOUR HERE and there right but danm it all that s--t sucks and I still remember it ALL!!

THANKS FOR LISTENING AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO PM ME ,PLEASE DO.
DON'T THINK YOUR THE ONLY GOING THREW SOMTHING.

MAKE THE MOST OUT OF EACH DAY

    Gayle,
You can try A Pain Solution. I heard they were good. I haven't used them, but I know some people that have and they were very happy with them.

I finally got ahold of someone at Universal. Ephy did not even tell them that they were closing so Universal has gotten swamped with phone calls. If you have any refills left with Universal, they will honor them. You just have to give them all your information such as billing, shipping and credit card. They don't have any of the information on file because ephy did the billing. Also, it will be alot cheaper than whay ephy was charging. I guess since ephy had such a low consult fee they made up for it by adding onto the refill prices. Hope this helps everyone that has refills left with ephy/universal

I'm getting tired of the websites changing the pharmacies rigth in the middle of your order. I understand things happen, but as I said before I had a refill on one website and the pharmacy said no..I had to work with bulging disk and degenerative arthritis for 2 days...very painful .. and I have no more sick days to take.

I've tried others where the pharmacy was discourteous and told me to go to the website to call them, yet the website has no phone number on it....

    ....ad inifinitum.

NWW has been through so many ups and downs I'm definitely staying away from them. Accuate MD and YOD are the ones that are switching the pharmacies and i've had problems with in the past.

The best one I ever had was Today's Prescriptions and they went out of business.

I have med recrods from last year (I get my annuals in April). I don't get to the chat boards a lot and am at work and can't read through all the posts. I tried reading through some of them yesterday.

Do you happen to know of a reliable one that I could possible get a call in today. I can fax my records.

    Thank YOU SO MUCH!

    Gayle

    Gayle,
I just called ephy's phone number and there is a recording that states the same thing that was posted about they are no longer involved in the healthcare industry and that scripts are filed with Universal and they may be willing to dispense the meds. I then called the number they gave for Universal to see if I could get any information for you guys. I got an answering machine that said I could leave a message. I called around 10:00 their time, so they should have been open. I just tried to call again and the phone just rings and rings before it disconnects. So, it doesn't look very good unless they are just busy on Mondays. I will let you know if I hear of anything.
    Mary

P.S. I don't like the way they worded the phrase "Univeral MAY BE WILLING to dispense the meds. That indicates to me like there is a good chance they won't fill any refills for you. Good Luck

Are they "truly" down for the count? Or is it just the website? I was considering calling for a consult. Are they still up and running and processing refills, or is it perhaps just a website problem.

I had an OP a while back that showed I had I refill left. I don't keep dates and such and just assumed it was correct. When the time came to order the refill I did and they sent back a notification. THEN I got a notification from the pharmacy that I DID not have a refill left and would have to do a consultation.

By the time I arranged for that and went thru all the hoopla, I finally received meds on the 32 day towards the end of the day. I was not feeling well. From now on, I'm going to check both pharmacy and website just to make sure they're in synch.

Sooo....what do you think? Should I try them out? I have you had a good experience? Is this perhaps just a glitsch?

This sucks! I've used Ephy off and on for a couple years, I even called them on Thursday just to make sure they were still there and they helped me change my address, then I saw this note on the board and checked out the website, it looks like they're down for the count, that's not good.

Just an FYI. Took a look at their website (above) just now and this is what was posted:

"Please be advised that ephy is no longer providing administrative services to the healthcare industry. Consequently, this website and the customer service department are no longer accepting communications. Your prescription is on file with Universal RX which may be willing to continue to dispense your medications. If this is of interest to you, please call them at the telephone number listed on your prescription bottle or at 813-471-1400."

....another one bites the dust..... Sad
