I just had another M.R.I. and had a back specialist look at it. come to find out this could have possibly been fixed from get go as the opening where the nerve comes out is supposed to be rounnd and when my back got herniated it narrowed it greatly, but with a minor surgery they could take a rasp and make the opening round again. In other words very pinched nerve and was told it showed at the 1st mri but some doctors see things different and won't recomend surgery!!! Its only destroyed my life as all know, I could write a country song over this one, lost my job, lost my wife, lost my home, lost my dog, and get to vist my kids!!!! there talking re-opening my L&I case which will also be a hassle but after this many years I figure hassle is my middle name. Your not alone in your frustration!!! stay tough!!!! ~IMMT~ sign up 6/23/ 03 your only doing this life once! Make it the best life possible!! Author: travler2 Subject: burning tongue Posted: Thu Oct 27, 2005 12:54 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 12 I have been suffering from burning tongue syndrome for over 1 year. The docs had no idea what was causing it (a GP and an ENT) but both suggested I get and AIDS test!!! I had one done just to appease them. Then I researched this on the web and it appears that this sometimes occurs to women going through menopause and that Klonopin has been used to treat burning tongue. The norco I take for my back helps the condition to some degree, but the burning is much worse at the end of the day. Is anyone taking both norco and klonopin? Has anyone had this syndrome? Any info would be so much appreciated! Thanks Author: yorkie Subject: AccurateMD Posted: Thu Oct 27, 2005 8:46 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 115 They will send you medicine to you as usual, but when the UPS/Fedex guy delivers it you have to give him a money order for the amount of the medicine. So you will still get it in the same amount of time, you just have to pay for it instead of it being charged to your card. Mary
