Author: Ace Posted: Tue Sep 27, 2005 6:54 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 553 Thanks Maty, for your thoughts. . . the weekend WAS miserable, but meds arrived Monday, and I feel alot better. You know where other people have posted that "the pain isn't as bad as they thought it was without meds"? Well, keeping in mind that there was an element of withdrawal, my back was killing me, and I had to work a ten hour shift moving a 500 pd machine around (ultrasound). They're supposed to be getting us a lighter, more ergonomic machine, but the wheels of upper administration grind slowly! Posted: Sun Sep 25, 2005 6:56 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 8 Wellllll, I have not been on too much lately because I have been dealing with more pain than usual. I'm sad, depressed, and upset becuase I found out I will indeed have to have yet another laporoscopy. Folks, when I say I know laparoscopies, boy-o-boy do I mean it! After being poked, proded, and poked some more again for the fourth time last week my ENTIRE ABDOMEN feels horrible and bloated. My VAGINA FEELS TERRIBLE! My OBs exact worda Friday, "Dear, you have two options." I reply "Ok, what are they?" "Well, number one is to begin Lupron treatments once again ASAP to shrink your cysts, especially the ovarian one, which we are concerned about ." I reply, "What's my second option?" He states, "We need to go in and remove the cysts and endo adhesion again." He did not dare mention the dreaded hysterectomy since he knows I WON'T agree to it till I'm around 40 since they found no cancer, but the worst is the FUCKING pain I'm having these days! I got Lupron shots for a year and while I think it served its purpose back then, this is NOT a drug for long term. I've been off of it for almost two years and I still have not lost the 25lbs I gained while on it! Oh, and I lost bone desity in my pelvic region too. So, thanks but no thanks! I originally went in with a horrific bladder infection, which they'e been treating with Bactrim, Macrobid, and Azo. It is CRAZY, but the DAMN thing tested positive again Friday! I've had it for approx. two weeks! It's the bladder infection from HELL that won't go away! We all know how that compounds our pain issues, huh gals? Ugh, try sitting on the toilet and actually crying cause the pain is unbearable. I have an appointment October 7th to find out if the bladder infection is GONE becuase they won't schedule the surgery till it's gone. I tell ya folks, I pretty much can't take it anymore. Author: maty Posted: Sun Sep 25, 2005 5:50 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 553 Oh hon, I know how terrible it feels to be out of meds! I also know you posted this info to share it with all the members and we appreciate it. I never "looked/noticed" exactly when I was ordering my refills, but I know as soon as the date on the bottle said I could refill...I'd place the refill order and get it. I will check all dates next time. That's why I posted that someone from SWMG should check in once a while and repsond here like they used to.
