    Oh hon,

I know how terrible it feels to be out of meds!

I also know you posted this info to share it with all the members and we appreciate it. I never "looked/noticed" exactly when I was ordering my refills, but I know as soon as the date on the bottle said I could refill...I'd place the refill order and get it. I will check all dates next time.

That's why I posted that someone from SWMG should check in once a while and repsond here like they used to.

Actually, I have never had an email address for Universal, and did not try to call them, since this appeared to be an SWMG issue; it was their website that showed the refill date, and the customer service person implied that someone at the pharmacy must have "caught" the fact that it was the wrong date, and therefore changed it.

It still seems to me to ultimately be SWMG's responsibility to post correct information on their website. Universal has always been great, and they have called me in the past if they had any questions re: shipping and/or meds. I really don't think it was the pharmacy's fault, but guess I could be wrong.
Don't fully understand how their system works, but I was just disappointed in the person I spoke with at SWMG.

As I said previously, she implied that it was MY fault. . . that I should "know" exactly when my refill date is. Well, actually I don't know when it is (because it seems to vary; between 21 & 23 days), so I have always just trusted the date that is shown, and planned accordingly for shipping).

This IS the first time I have had this kind of experience with SWMG. I have absolutely NO problem with Dr. Raza, he's great. As I posted earlier, maybe this was just a glitch that will never happen again, but it was upsetting that they wouldn't respond.

I have used them for quite awhile, and would prefer not to change (such a hassle!), I just thought I should share what happened to me, so anyone else would be aware and perhaps pay closer attention and be able to resolve it before it's too late (as I was told).

When I posted my issue with them, I was upset and frankly, am out of meds (although I'm not sure how that happened, because I've never run out. I never count the meds, but assumed the total was there. Also, had someone staying in my house, and have some suspicion that there might have been, shall we say, a little pilfering? (They're not out in the open, but suppose they could be found if someone was really intent on finding them)

Anyway, as anyone else can attest to, it is NO FUN to all of a sudden be without your meds. "Cranky" would be putting it mildly, and am having a lot of pain!

Thanks, Maty for your response. . . not trying to "dis" SWMG entirely, and certainly NOT Dr. Raza. Talk to you later, Ace

    Hi Ace,

This is VERY strange. I have had NO PROBLEM with them at all! I had consult and Dr. Raza and usual he was great!

NOt trying to blame anyone, but at times the pharmacy may have an issue and Southwesternmedical may not be aware of it. Are you saying that you called and emailed both Southwest AND United and they BOTH have not return either emails or calls? Which one...

Gee, I REALLY WISH A REP FROM SOUTHWEST would come on here and check in once in a while to respond to members post? That used to help lots!

NOT HAPPY Mad I already know that I am in the minority of members who use SWMG (and they are certainly not the cheapest), but Dr. Raza is great, and the customer service USED to be great also. It was just easier for me to stay with them.

SWMG always shows a "refill date", and approximately 4-5 days prior to that you can place your order and the pharmacy will ship it on the refill date.

NOT THIS TIME. I'm just posting so others know this could possibly happen to them. . . it had never happened to me prior to this, so came out of the blue.

Basically, they have shown a refill date of 9/22/05 for at least five days (don't know exactly, because I didn't check until close to the time I thought it was)
    .
Sooooo, I placed my order, paid for overnight (because it would arrive on Friday the 23rd) Well, somewhere along the way (AFTER I paid!) my refill date was changed to the 23rd, which meant that "overnight" now meant Monday (to them).

I sent them 3-4 emails without any response at all, then finally was able to call this a.m. They told me it would not be here until Monday the 26th, because I "paid for overnight". Well, duh. . . that's because the refill date was a Thursday and I would get it Friday. I just feel someone must have noticed (or should have) the discrepancy in the dates and at least either given me the opportunity to pay for Saturday delivery, or NOT pay for overnight, when I am not getting it overnight!

It's odd, because up until now, I have always been pleased with them. They always called me (or the pharmacy has called me) if they had any questions at all. Every place of business screws up once in awhile, it's just that they didn't seem apologetic at all; the customer service person acted like it was my fault.

Just wanted to warn anyone who does use SWMG that beware if your refill date is towards the end of the week. . . it might change! OR stay on top of your order (like check every day to see if the date has changed) so that you can possibly make any changes necessary (if they let you) in your shipping options. Ace

They are in Staffor, TX, near where I have family. I did get a message from the OP and even though they are rather far inland, they have evacuated, as has my family. No idea yet when they will return. That was all I could find out.

All my prayers go out to the those of you in the path of "Rita". From what I hear on TV, it could also hit the waterfront of LA. again which could cause lots of rain and flooding for those still without and my heart goes out to all of you.

Please stay safe and let us know if there is anything we can do for any of you. My Dad passed away Sept 1st and I donated his clothes to the victims of Katrina, but I can always come up with more when needed.

Take care, stay safe and be careful!!

    With all my prayers,

    solara
