What did you name her? Is this your first baby? Ok, enough questions...lol.
Second, please don't be so hard on yourself. You are not stupid! I really don't know what your exact physical problem is, but pain is pain and I can imagine you arm hurting more by picking up your precious little one. I give your "props" for trying to quit, but like I said, don't be too hard on yourself for starting back up. Ultram, I don't think, is a narcotic anyway...not like hydro or anything like that, and if it helps you then great! Let us know all about your new little daughter, okay? Take care of yourself and again, Congrats!!!! solara aka Cindy My family is the meaning of my life Author: lostgirl Posted: Fri Aug 12, 2005 1:57 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 97 Well CRAP!! I haven't posted to this topic for quite a while. I saw that no one else had either and figured they had probably moved to the other withdrawl topic. But my story is here so I thought I would post here for those who saw them before and might be interested. Good news and bad news. Since I last posted I have had a baby. In July last year my husband found a bottle of my pills. This is the 3rd or 4th time we had gone over this but he loves me so much that bless his heart he always believes my lies. I know I shouldn't lie to him but that is another subject. Anyhow I stopped ordering meds from OP's. In Aug I got pregnant. I still took meds occasionally, mostly Ultram for my arm but not enough to cause the baby distress. I had a healthy baby girl on April 26. You would think that since I got through 9 months I would be done right. WRONG!.. My arm Dr. stopped giving me Ultram and told me to just do physical therapy. Though I know he is right I have a psychological need for it. He could give me placebo pills, tell me they are narcotics and it would give me the same feeling I have on the pills. Even knowing this I have still started ordering from the OP's again. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that my body is mine again. I can take it without any fear of harming anyone but myself. Stupid huh. Good news too is that I have lost all my pregnancy weight. Am 3 days "sober" again but have meds coming on Mon. and am just trying to get through the days until it comes. I AM SO STUPID! Thanks mike Author: lostgirl Subject: refills Posted: Thu Aug 11, 2005 9:04 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 9 I have found a way to have my rx in my posession on day 21. I receive my rx every 3rd Monday. Here's what you do: Have your consult scheduled for Friday and ask for Monday delivery. The rx goes out on Friday. The pharmacy says they will send your refill on day 25 but in my experience they actually send it on day 23. Because they count the day they mailed it as day 1, day 23 will always fall on Sunday, meaning they will consistently mail it every 3rd Friday. So the 2 days in between when they mail it and when I receive it basically disappear. I get my meds every 3rd Monday. I stumbled across this by accident but thought I would share for those of you who have had problems in the past. Good luck Author: newtoatlanta Subject: RXGreat Prices Posted: Wed Aug 10, 2005 6:54 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 20 Well, I hope I don't prove myself a fool. Monday when I tried to contact my OP for a refill that was due - no answer all day. I called the pharmacy and was told that the OP had called and told them not to process any refills until further notice. Wonderful. I had just had a consult!! Was in a pinch and did not want to pay for another consult nd send in records to another OP (yes I have records but didn't have them with me) so thought I would try a NROP. I read and reread all the info and logged off not wanting to do it. But, I also knew what life was going to be like when the pain set in. Took the plunge with RXGreatPrices because the feedback seemed to stated that they use Watson and were fairly quick. I order Monday late afternoon. They accept COD only. I basically forgot about it. Today upon arriving home there was a UPS note on my door. Now the UPS office is very far from my home and it was late so I could not go pick it up. It will be delivered tomorrow. I am terrified to open the package and find that I have paid $219.85 for junk. Please, please be Watson hydro in the correct quantity of 90 pills. Has anyone actually opened a package in front of the UPS guy and/or turned it down if it is not the right thing? Will they let you do this? If I get a bottle of vitamins I'm going to be a lot more than just pi$$ed off. Let me know if anyone has tried this with UPS and how it worked out. Also, there was a note on the UPS package notification that stated "I think its medicine". The driver obviously jotted that down. Kind of wish they couldn't tell that sort of thing!!
