They are telling me that they "cannot ship DHL to a UPS store", which the local UPS store tells me is not true. In fact, they said if "violates anti-trust laws" or something. I left a message at Universal and sent a customer support request to SWMG, but now it is the weekend, and it was supposed to go out yesterday? or Monday (says in tracking info the 7th, but that is Sunday). Anyway, I was expecting to receive it no later than Tuesday and this is the one time we are actually going on a vacation! (starting Wednesday) Don't you just hate it when there is an "issue", and you can't talk to anyone? I sure hope this doesn't screw up my great "delivery plan"! I did mention in my email to SWMG that I was posting about my experience, so hopefully they can assist me in resolving this so I can post positively about the outcome. I know there are others who have posted about picking up packages at the "hub", so guess I'll have to research DHL and figure out where that is. I'm sure, though, that like UPS and FedEx, they are in the city that is about 50 miles from where I live!! Will let you know outcome. . . . . . Ace P.S. Does anyone have any experience with DHL? Are they as fast and reliable as the other carriers? Author: slbabsfan Subject: Norcoworldwide Posted: Sat Aug 06, 2005 2:39 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 1517 August 5, 2005 I know that I will never do business with Norco again. I have used them for two years and they started out great, but now they are rude, you can't even get a word in when they are talking. They think we are all whiners. I had a cervical disk fusion at 6/7, a Right shoulder surgery for a rotator cuff tear done twice, right carpal tunnel release, and now have sever degenerative disk disease in the lumbar region, anterior epicondylitis in left elbow, and if that isn't enough, plantar fascitis heel spurs on both feet. Is that just not enough. I've sent them every record I have and then get a surly woman calling me make wanting something. The order finally got straightened out and I was due a refill. I called for refill requesting priority overnight. This was done very early Thursday AM, August 4th, the day It was due. Did not come today, Friday, and I discovered by tracking order that I will now not receive it until Monday of next week. Is this waht over night means to them ? I am sick to death of this. Every day is a day laden with pain somewhere in my body. My own Dr. just pooh, poohs it and says I need a hobby. I would love to have a hobby. I would love to be able to sit up long enough to have a hobby without something hurting. I will definitely find a different supplier. All my own Dr wants to do is give me another Ansaid. I just waiting for the heart attack that is going to kill me after Vioxx. Well, enough whing. But I think that the only way will make an effect on these people is to boycott them, ALL OF US !!!!!!!!!! Take care of yourselves and of each other. Sometimes, each other if all that we have. Babsfan [/b] Author: Ace Posted: Fri Aug 05, 2005 10:24 am (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 553 I spoke with Dr. Raza yesterday morning, and he was a sweetie pie as usual! This time he talked a little longer and gave me some suggestions re: strengthening exercises, and using my hot tub. I told him that I was glad that I it was him that I got to speak to, and he seemed pleased. As he always does, he signed off by saying, "Okay. You take care of yourself and we'll talk again in a couple of months". I know he is not exactly like Dr. Lockridge, but frankly, it's been so long ago that I talked to Doc LocK, that I can't really remember what he was like (I know he was nice, though). Dr. Raza is very kind. My meds will be here soon! Ace P.S. SWMG has switched from UPS shipping to DHL. Don't know if that will impact anyone, but for me, I have my meds shipped to a local UPS store, and they assured me that there was no problem. . . as long as they knew ahead of time, so that they would know to "accept it" for me. They also told me of an option where you can buy a "box" there, and have mail and ANY package delivered. Cindy My family is the meaning of my life Author: solara Posted: Thu Aug 04, 2005 2:24 pm (GMT -5) Topic Replies: 1517 Thanks, David! But I think after all the feedback I've been reading, I don't think I'll use it. Apparently, NWW sounds like it's losing a lot of business. I used them a long time ago when all you had to do is send in your regular updated medical records, but it sure sounds like they've got a problem over there now. Anyway, thanks again and have a great day!!
