Does Paxil help against depression and anxiety for you? Works great, no disturbing side effects. It helps but I do experience side effects that are bothering me. I tried Paxil or its generic for several weeks and I did not experience improvement. Opioid medications like Hydocodone keep my depression under control much better. Physical or emotional pain may cause depression in 95% of all patients, treating pain is better. Paxil works better for me than other SSRI's I have tried. I prefer the use of other SSRI's versus Paxil. I take pain medication in combination with Paxil and am happy with the results. I have never used Paxil or similar medication. View Results
