Hydrocodone Online – Obtain Vicodin ES and Lortab with Telemedicine!November 15, 2004 Many Americans use telemedicine to obtain hydrocodone containing products such as Lortab, Lorcet, Vicodin ES and other medications to treat chronic pain or anxiety. For chronic pain & anxiety patients without insurance telemedicine is often the only affordable way to obtain medications. Because prices for pain clinics, physiotherapy and visits to local physicians are often unaffordable for uninsured middle class US citizens it is no surprise that many buy their medications online. If you ever went to a pain clinic you likely had to visit every month in order to receive your prescriptions. Not only is the price of a consultation very steep (usually around $500 for initial and $250+ for follow ups) but then there is also the cost of expensive shots and medications. There are also many people who need surgery but who can’t afford it. For others who already had surgery and are still experiencing chronic pain there may not even be any solution besides ongoing pain management with strong pain medications. Often your local physician will stop prescribing pain medication when surgery is recommended but not performed or when pain medication is required for longer periods of time. If you’re lucky you’ll get 30-60 tabs of Vicodin or Lortab which will cost around $140 for the consultation plus a few bucks for the medication itself. Most people don’t realize how hard it is for legit pain patients to find a doctor who is willing to help you out without charging an arm and a leg. If you suffer chronic back pain a local doctor will almost always advice $2000 worth of physiotherapy once a week at $250 per session for two months. Unfortunately this type of treatment does usually have minimum effect on those with conditions such as herniated or compressed disks and the pain will insist and return if you have such a chronic condition. Next he may refer you to a neurologist who will charge $200+ just to send you to the hospital for an MRI or whatever tests he/she feels necessary for proper diagnose. Naturally you want to be free of pain so you pay for the tests and are out another $1000 for diagnostic tests performed in the hospital but still you have no relief. Since you don’t have $25.000 in your bank account you can’t afford any surgery so you return to the neurologist (another $200+) who will dismiss you from his office because you will not follow his advice (operation) and therefore there is nothing else he can do for you. When you return to your local doctor’s office again and you were in a similar situation you have already spend at least $3,400 + whatever was charged for the prescription medications. Unfortunately most of us can’t afford to spend $250 per month to go to the pain clinic and pay for extremely expensive medications that are only available in brand name such as 15 Patches of Duragesic 100mcu for $800. This medication is very popular at pain clinics due to the reduced risks of abuse and will last about a month meaning you will soon need to pay another $250 to revisit the pain clinic plus $800 for your monthly medication. That adds up to $1050 per month just to keep your pain under control! Your local doctor will most likely be afraid to treat you with opioids for a longer period of time even though you have proper medical records indicating a painful condition. The war on prescription drugs has really frightened many doctors and it almost seems that you will only find relief if you have lots of money to spend on pain clinics and pharmaceuticals or if you are insured. The bitter truth is that many jobs do not offer insurance and paying for insurance yourself if you are not eligible for Medicaid is unaffordable for those who support their family and have jobs that do not pay all well. Yet it is still the norm that chronic pain patients that require long term pain management need to see a specialist or go to an expensive pain clinic for expensive prescriptions and treatments... Usually the pain patients end up at a local doctor’s office again for a low quantity of painkillers because they do not have the money to acquire ongoing pain management at the pain clinic. In many cases this goes on and on because one has chronic pain and there seems to be no solution unless you can come up with enough money for an operation or for ongoing visits to the pain clinic and for the medication that is prescribed. Even after an operation there is no guarantee that the pain will go away. Although the success rates depend on your condition there are many people with chronic back pain that had multiple operations and the pain actually became worse! Because there are 100.000’s of hard working Americans with chronic pain and without insurance it is no surprise that telemedicine is so popular these days. Telemedicine has been a blessing for legit chronic pain patients that are caught in this system. If you are a chronic pain patient you can just schedule an appointment online with a licensed U.S. physician who is sympathetic and very understanding towards your needs. These doctors will not under-prescribe and even put their license on the line to help you. You just fax your medical records and you will be informed when you can expect a call from the doctor. During the medical phone consultation you will discuss your condition and your medical records, the doctor will then prescribe a suitable treatment. Usually telemedicine doctors will prescribe 3 or 4 fills meaning that you will only need 3 or 4 consultations per year for ongoing medical relief. You should however never skip your medical check-ups with your local doc and make sure you get your yearly physical. Because the cost of a Telemedicine consultation is only $60-$120 the process is much more affordable than going to a local doctor who will only prescribe a few pills and not even close to what you would be paying when visiting a pain clinic. Besides affordable it is most convenient as you never have to leave you home. Your medication is shipped from a U.S. pharmacy straight to your door and you never have to wait in line. This is really just the start of Telemedicine; it will be interesting to see how this technology develops into providing affordable healthcare all over the world!
